Harley Street Mental Health aims to provide both virtual, and in person consultations at our Harley Street address for common psychiatric presentations. In particular we would be assessing and treating ADHD, ASD, Anxiety disorders and Depressive illnesses. For conditions where there is an evidence base, and that are non-responsive to first line treatments we will also be offering assessments to patients for consideration of the use of cannabis based medical products. We will not be seeing any psychiatric emergencies.
Job Description
We are looking for Psychiatrists to join our team at Harley Street Mental Health. Particularly those with experience in neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD and ASD. Your day-to-day role will be supported by our state of the art Electronic Record System, Semble where you can manage all your patient bookings, pre-assessment questionnaires, reporting, and video consultations.
Much of our work will be conducted remotely, however where face-to-face appointments are required, or requested you will have access to our clinic at 10 Harley Street.
Desired Qualifications and Experience
Full GMC Registration with at least 4 years’ experience in Psychiatry
Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (Or equivalent)
Approved under Section 12 of the Mental Health Act
Approved Clinician Status*
Entry onto the Specialist Register for one of the Psychiatry sub specialties. *
Legal right to work in the UK
Enhanced DBS Check
Working knowledge of Mental Health Legislation, risk management principles and practical risk assessment*Individuals that are not Approved Clinicians or on the Specialist Register will be working under consultant supervision.

Desired Qualifications and Experience
A Doctorate Level Qualification (BPS route or equivalent) in Clinical/Counselling or Forensic Psychology along with HCPC Registration.
Experience in CFT, DBT, ACT, EMDR and/or schema focussed therapies.
Specific training in Autism and ADHD.
The ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
