Dr Fadaka completed her postgraduate training in Paediatrics in Nigeria & West Africa. She was awarded membership of the West Africa college of physicians in Paediatrics and fellowship of the postgraduate medical college of Nigeria in Paediatrics in 2002 and 2005.
She worked as a Paediatrician for 10 years including 4 years in the United Kingdom. She then pursued her passion for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry which had always been an interest of hers during her postgraduate training years in Paediatrics, including carrying out research in this area leading to several publications.
Dr Fadaka is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrist.
She completed her higher training in the UK with the renowned St Mary’s Child & Adolescent training program.
She has trained and worked in various settings including inpatient & outpatient CAMHS services.
Dr Fadaka has a vast experience in assessing, managing and treating young people with complex neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD, ASD and Learning Disabilities with co-morbid mood, anxiety, substance misuse disorders and challenging behaviours.
